Intel aims to offer quieter and more efficient performance with its improved design and copper-based coolers for its Core Ultra Series 2 processors.
Intelintroduced Laminar RH2 and RM2 stock coolers designed for the new generation Core Ultra Series 2 processors. These new models have a copper-based structure, which has higher thermal conductivity, instead of the aluminum base used in the previous generation. At the same time, significant improvements have been achieved in terms of both aesthetics and silence with the improvements made in the design. Intel states that these coolers offer more efficient performance under standard usage conditions and are ideal for 65 Watt processors.
Copper-Based Structure in Intel Coolers
New Laminar RH2 and RM2 coolers offer a more effective performance in heat transfer thanks to their copper base structure. This change ensures that processor temperatures are distributed more evenly. Additionally, improvements have been made to the sound level of the coolers. The RH2 model offers a quieter operation than the previous generation, with a sound level of 23 dBA and RM2 model with a sound level of 30 dBA. In addition, the RH2 model includes a visual innovation with its ARGB lighting feature.

Intel has given importance not only to performance but also to design in its new stock coolers. Instead of the overly bright blue lights of the previous generation, simpler ARGB lighting is offered. Thanks to the Halo strap design, ease of installation and user comfort are increased. However, it is stated that these coolers are designed for standard use, not for overclocking.
These coolers, which will be offered with Intel’s new Core Ultra Series 2 processors, will be released in the first quarter of 2025. Intel states that these models will be a cost-effective solution especially for entry and mid-level users.
