Intelthe most awaited in the technology world Arrow Lake It plans to introduce its desktop chips at a special event on October 10. Although the company postponed its Intel Innovation event due to recent performance issues, there will be no delays to the Arrow Lake launch.
Arrow Lake Technical Details and Release Schedule
According to previous leaks, the Arrow Lake lineup will include a total of 18 SKUs spanning different Thermal Design Power (TDP) ranges. These SKUs will include the Core Ultra 9, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 5 models. However, this number does not include the entry-level Core Ultra 3 and Intel Processor (formerly Celeron) models, which are expected to be introduced at CES in early 2025.
The Arrow Lake chip launch will be consistent with Intel’s previous launch cycles. Initially, only the K-series Core Ultra 9, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 5 models will be available. These chips will hit shelves within a week or two of the announcement. In the same time frame, motherboard manufacturers will also be releasing their higher-end Z890 and tentatively named B860 models. These motherboards are designed to be fully compatible with Arrow Lake chips and are optimized to meet the expectations of performance enthusiasts.
Intel’s innovations with Arrow Lake aim to overcome some of the performance issues the company experienced in previous generations. These chips aim to provide a superior experience, especially in games and high-performance applications. In addition, Arrow Lake’s innovations include improved processor architecture, higher efficiency and advanced cooling solutions.
