When a report of suspected domestic violence or child abuse is made, Safe at Home immediately checks whether there is an acute unsafe situation. If this is the case, the report will be handled with priority. Measures are also taken immediately. If this is not the case, the organization has five working days to make a safety assessment. This determines what assistance is needed for the children, families and households involved.
