(Finance) – ATM accelerates digital payments and launches a unique ecosystem with the dual objective of simplifying daily transactions and promoting a sustainable and innovative model for the entire Italian system, always looking at internationalization. During the presentation of the development plans, the President Franco Dalla Sega and CEO Fabrizio Burlando they outlined the vision that consolidates Bancomat as a protagonist in the digital transformation of payments.
“We are announcing our new brand, not just the logo, but the important news is that we are taking our three brands BANCOMAT, PagoBANCOMAT and BANCOMAT Pay and bringing them together under one name BANCOMAT. The three brand strategy was useful in the past, but now it confuses a bit with multi-channel and digitality, so we want to offer a single physical and digital ecosystem”. He said it Fabrizio Burlando, CEO of BANCOMATon the occasion of the ninth edition of the Payments Fair.
A renewal that is not limited to technological transformationbut extends to a business model oriented towards simplicity and inclusion. The integrated system responds, in fact, to all payment needs, from traditional withdrawals to digital payments, up to the possibility of withdrawing cash directly from merchants via POS. This model makes it possible to reduce costs for merchants and guarantee greater security for users, through innovative solutions such as biometric identification and the use of simple identifiers such as the telephone number.
“ATM is truly a critical infrastructure for this country. He is 40 years old, but the best is yet to come. A network has been maintained for banks of all sizes, especially for the benefit of the customers of these banks, who show that they appreciate it and have trust”, he underlined Franco Dalla Sega, president of ATM.
“It is a beautiful Italian brand, one of the most beautiful Italian brands, and therefore it is a good challenge – he added – I am sure that with the new management and the new capital that has arrived, this challenge will materialize and will give good results both for ATM that for all stakeholders”.
Over the last year, ATM has undertaken a significant renewal processcreating a digital ecosystem that combines tradition and innovation.
