32-year-old Öztürk suffers from cartilage damage. As a result, his impressive career in amateur football comes to an abrupt end. The midfielder has been playing for the Veenendaal third divisionist since 2021. He previously defended the colors of FC Lienden, JVC Cuijk, IJsselmeervogels, DVS ’33 Ermelo and TEC.
