(Finance) – Brescia initiatives (INBRE), a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the design, construction and management of hydroelectric plants, closed 2021 with Net revenues equal to approximately 22.5 million euros (20 million euros at 31 December 2020). The 13% increase was achieved thanks to the positive trend in the price of energy, which more than compensated for the decline in hydroelectric production and, to a lesser extent, thanks to the entry into operation of the new plants. The gross operating margin amounted to approximately 15.3 million euros (14 million euros the year before) and a Net income consolidated amount of approximately € 3.6 million (€ 5.1 million at 31 December 2020). L’net financial debt of the group amounted to 87.4 million euros (51.1 million euros at 31 December 2020).

“While operating in a still very complicated social and economic contextthe group confirmed its active role as an engine of development in the reference territories, allocating approximately € 41.1 million of investments to the construction and purchase of new plants, their management and the growth of the operating companies – commented the president Battista Albertani – positively contributed to the increase in employment, facilitating the achievement of a significant gross operating margin, after incurring personnel costs of 1 million, in favor of Public Bodies for approximately 2.3 million and earmarked for taxes for approximately 2.2 millions”.

The board of directors resolved to propose to the shareholders’ meeting the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.80 euros (pay-out equal to 80%) for each outstanding share, according to the following calendar: detachment date of the dividend 2 May 2022 (ex date), date of entitlement to receive the dividend 3 May 2022 (record date) and date dividend payment date May 4, 2022 (payment date).

For 2022, Iniziative Bresciane affirms that it intends to continue “the process of investing in hydroelectric plants by completing the authorization and concession procedures in progress, starting the construction sites relating to the authorized plants, evaluating external development opportunities offered by the market in which it operates, giving life to new initiatives “.
