Comic Book’s Chris Killian writes about the conclusion of the Venom trilogy: “Venom: The Last Dance is a crazy buddy road trip that pushes its PG-13 rating to the limit. In short: Venom 3 is classic guilty pleasure cinema. Turn off your brain and let Venom nibble on it.”

Joseph Lidmeier from Screenrant, however, says: “Venom: The Last Dance takes you on a wild and exciting journey from start to finish! It’s a fun popcorn moviewhich reminds me of the comic book movies of the early 2000s. The action is great and pays homage to action movies from the 80s. There are a lot of funny moments. Are there plot holes and some problems with the story? Yes. Is it fun? Also yes.”
Ian Sandwell from Digital Spy even considers Venom 3 to be the most entertaining part of the series: “Venom: The Last Dance is the most entertaining part of the trilogy. It is mostly a fun and sweet road tripin which Eddie and Venom live out their Thelma and Louise refugee dreams, complete with car karaoke and dog rescue. You might even get sentimental.”
