Inhuman scenes in Gaza He was stripped naked and detained

Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip and the massacre of civilians have continued since October 7. Footage has emerged showing Israeli forces detaining dozens of Palestinian civilians on the streets of Gaza and stripping them of their clothes before taking them to an undisclosed location.

Images published on Israeli Telegram pages and in the media showed dozens of men gathered together, their clothes stripped, their eyes covered and their hands tied.

THERE ARE JOURNALISTS AMONG THOSE DETAINED

Some videos show undressed men being loaded into trucks. The men were reportedly recruited from homes and schools sheltering displaced families in the northern Gaza Strip. Diaa al-Kahlout, a journalist working for Al Araby Al Jadeed, was also identified as among these people. It is said that there are doctors, academics, journalists and the elderly among those detained.

7 PEOPLE WERE KILLED

According to the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, an eyewitness said at least seven people were shot dead by soldiers because they did not comply with soldiers’ orders quickly enough. Israeli soldiers raided the Khalifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Aleppo schools in Beit Lahya on Thursday after besieging them for days.

BODIES ARE SCATTERED ON THE GROUND

Images taken by local residents and reporters show Israeli snipers positioned on the roofs of houses near the Khalifa school. Another video shows the bodies of dead men reportedly strewn in the courtyard of the Khalifa school.

After forcibly removing everyone from the schools, Israeli soldiers arrested the men and allowed the women and children to escape on foot.

IT IS UNKNOWN WHERE THEY WERE TAKEN

Soldiers then went house to house in some neighborhoods in Beit Lahia, removing residents and setting fire to some houses before arresting the men. It is not clear where the gathered men were taken. The Israeli military did not comment on the mass arrests.

Some Israeli media said the men were “possible” Hamas operatives, but no further details were given. Osama Hamdan, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, denied mass arrests of members of the group and likened the detentions to “Nazi concentration camps.”

He told Al Araby TV that the footage showed “the detention and abuse of unarmed civilians who had nothing to do with military operations.”
