The Environmental and Health Protection Agency recently carried out a food inspection at a fast food restaurant in northern Sweden. The purpose of the inspection was to see how the restaurant complied with food legislation.

The fast food restaurant had several serious flaws
During the inspection, it emerged that the popular fast food restaurant had several serious deficiencies.
Among other things, the environmental inspector noted old food residues and dirt on the floor and ingrown food residues on benches. Floors and walls had suspected growth of black mold, according to the municipality’s report which News24 took part in.

The report states, among other things, that “refrigerators during vegetable preparation have embedded food residues inside” and that “the tile in the sink room has a suspicious growth of black mold”.

A further check will be necessary
Based on the deficiencies found in the fast food restaurant, the Environmental and Health Protection Agency assesses that a follow-up check will be necessary due to the deviations.
