He was party secretary in KD until mid-March – when he was accused by party colleague Sara Skyttedal of having made unwelcome sexual advances at an after party nine years ago. Now Johan Ingerö is speaking out for the first time since he was fired. In a long interview with Aftonbladet, he talks about his view of what happened late at the party, something he says he didn’t think about until Skyttedal made the police report that was later dropped. Skyttedal has said that he touched her inner thigh several times even though she spoke up. That she fell asleep in a bed among friends, but woke up alone with Ingerö, whom she believes she had to push away after repeated advances. Ingerö says that they were a whole bunch of Christian Democrats who slept in the same bed at the after-party – and that he and Skyttedal were not next to each other. – She lies between two KDU guys in the left part of the bed. I slide down on the right side. At this point, I’ve been awake for almost a day, have a long tough election campaign behind me and I’ve had a lot of alcohol, even by my standards. I fall asleep in less than 30 seconds. Say I slept 3-4 hours at most. I wake up on the same spot, the same part, the right side of the bed, says Johan Ingerö to Aftonbladet.
