The woman who was stabbed to death on the open street in Visby was 64-year-old Ing-Marie Wieselgren, coordinator for mental health in Sweden’s municipalities and regions.
The police were alerted to Donner’s place about a serious violent crime at 13.50. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. During the police press conference in the evening, it was announced that the woman had died from her injuries.
Expo: Murder suspect has NMR connections
The suspect is 33 years old. He was arrested at 17.35 on probable cause suspected of murder, after the woman died.
He is said to have been active in the Nazi Nordic resistance movement, something that the magazine Expo confirms for TV4 Nyheterna.
