There SI Academy of San Giovanni a Teduccio was born with the aim of training high professional profiles in the conception, management and monitoring of road and motorway infrastructures. The selection of applications for access to semester courses (collected through calls for engineering graduate students) have seen in recent months the choice of 24 young graduates and 12 employees of the Group (including ASPI, Tecne and Tangenziale di Napoli). Among the selected students, 20 of them are from Campania, the average age is 27, the average grade of the specialist degree is 110/110; the qualifications range from Environmental and Land Engineering to Civil Engineering, from Building Engineering and Architecture, Engineering of Hydraulic and Transport Systems, Structural and Geotechnical.

“Our alliance with universities and research centers – affirms theCEO of Autostrade per l’Italia Roberto Tomasi – deployed to train the skills of tomorrow and develop new technological solutions, is one of the pillars of the Group’s transformation plan and also looks at the country’s knowledge needs, at a crucial historical moment. The path undertaken in Naples with the Federico II University is a vivid expression of this: the future of sustainable mobility is also in these talents “.

On the basis of the agreement signed in May last year proposed to the University by the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture directed by Andrea Prota as part of the partnership with the Group, Federico II – Aspi points out – gives a significant contribution in terms of technological skills, in the areas of designing new works, monitoring and assessing the safety of existing infrastructures, as well as strengthening the network. Among the activities, the University also provides support in the use and development of digital technologies designed for the safety of the motorway network managed by ASPI. A mutual collaboration that therefore intervenes in various thematic areas: from transport systems and integrated mobility to the digitization of design processes, up to the development of artificial intelligence projects applied to mobility.

“With Autostrade del Sapere – he says Gian Luca Orefice, Human Capital Organization director of ASPI – we carry out a concrete, widespread and continuous commitment over time to cultivate the skills and professions essential for the transformation of our Group and for the development of the entire country system. A productive scientific collaboration in the support of teaching, in the financing of scholarships and the management of training internships that sees the operationally engaged with the structures of the Tecne university, a company of the Group that carries out design, engineering and construction management activities and which represents one of the strategic elements of the ASPI Transformation Plan: an industrial plan worth 21.5 billion, including investments and modernization of the network, which is based on the safety and efficiency of infrastructures, with a view to sustainable mobility and the implementation of offered services”.
