A missing woman was found dead in a wooded area in Jönköping yesterday evening. Now a man has been wanted for the murder – and is being chased by the police, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna. The police were called to Taberg in Jönköping municipality at 6.30pm on Monday. Private individuals had found a dead person in a wooded area. According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, it concerns a woman in her 40s who was reported missing at the end of February this year. She was then last seen in western Sweden. Circumstances of the encounter yesterday indicate that the woman has been the victim of a crime, sources say. The Jönköping police have been very tight-lipped about the case and refer to a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. However, it has been confirmed that a murder investigation has been opened. According to TV4 Nyhetern’s information, the criminal suspicions have been directed at a man who has now been arrested in his absence for murder. – I can neither confirm nor deny it.
