Information to SVT: The acquitted gym killer has been arrested

The 17-year-old convicted of murder, who was released from the Correctional Service during a visit to the dentist in Södertälje, has been arrested in Strängnäs, according to information to SVT Nyheter. It was on April 13 that the 17-year-old was released in connection with the Probation Service transporting him from the Sis home he was admitted to to a dentist’s office. According to several independent informants, the man has now been arrested by the police in connection with a search in another matter at a residence in Strängnäs, writes SVT further. Classified as likely to escape The 17-year-old was classified as likely to escape, and in connection with the armed release was provided with both hand and waist shackles. An extra correctional officer was also in the transport during the release. Correctional staff are equipped with pepper spray and are trained to deal with a person trying to escape – but not for an armed release. Convicted of murder at gym Earlier in March, the 17-year-old was convicted of the murder of the father of three, Fredrik Andersson, 54, at the Delta gym in Stockholm.
