Sales are usually a lot about fashion. Many consumers look for new clothes during sales promotions! The next edition should therefore have multiple price reductions at various specialized brands such as La Redoute. But the 2023 sales will also target a much wider audience by offering promotions on all kinds of products such as laptops or smartphones.

What is the date of the next sales?

The next sales to come are the winter sales. Although no official date has yet been communicated by the Government, it is already possible to plan. If we refer to previous editions, the next 2023 sales will be held from Wednesday 11 January and are scheduled to end on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Although these dates for the 2023 sales are still speculative, they fit perfectly with previous editions which also took place at the beginning of January. However, we will have to wait for confirmation from the Public-Service website to be permanently fixed.

Note that these first dates of the 2023 sales concern a majority of French departments. However, some regions have staggered dates! This is particularly the case for the departments of Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges as well as the overseas territories.

The dates of the 2023 sales are not chosen at random. These are now organized over four weeks (compared to six previously). This new duration of the sales results from the Pacte Law implemented at the end of 2019. The final duration, as well as the dates of the sales, however, remain established by the Minister for the Economy. The shortening of the duration of the 2023 sales, however, makes it possible to further concentrate the various promotions.

Each sales period has its own rules to set its dates. Thus, the winter sales generally take place from the second Wednesday of January. The summer sales are held on the last Wednesday of June.

What are the dates of the sales in Paris?

If the dates of the 2023 sales are established for a large majority of French territory, some regions have exceptions! Although many Parisian consumers worry about the exact date of the sales every year, the latter correspond to the majority of other French departments. The 2023 winter sales in Paris should therefore take place from January 11th.

However, the dates of the sales remain subject to possible changes in the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances. The Government usually confirms the dates a few weeks before the start of each edition of the summer or winter sales. We’ll be sure to keep this article up to date with the latest information.

What is the date of the 2023 sales in Moselle?

Moselle is one of the departments for which the dates of the 2023 sales are offset from the other departments. Alongside Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse and Vosges, the department should benefit from specific dates for the next sales periods. We will not fail to detail these as soon as they are communicated by the Government. During the previous edition, the winter sales in Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, and Vosges took place from January 3 to 30, 2022.
