The flu is making a comeback in France

A call for vigilance is launched

Dr. Gérald KIERZEK, emergency physician and medical director of Doctissimo, specifies that, even if the flu is often mild, it can also lead to serious complications, even death in the elderly or frail people with an excess mortality of around 12,000 death in a few weeks of epidemic.
The authorities also remind that vaccinations against flu and Covid “which can be concomitant”, are currently available and widely recommended for elderly people or people with risk factors. The flu vaccination campaign will end on January 31.
