Inflation expectations fall slightly

Market participants, labor market partners and purchasing managers expect inflation according to the CPIF measure of 5.2 percent in one year’s time, compared to 5.4 percent in the corresponding measurement from September.

In the five-year term, inflation expectations are 2.3 percent, up from 2.2 percent in September. In two years’ time, the respondents see inflation of 3.1 percent instead of the previous 3.3 percent.

The measurement comes after yesterday’s inflation figure, which showed inflation of 9.5 percent according to the CPIF measure in November.

The Riksbank’s inflation target is 2 percent.
