INFLATION HELP. A new bonus of 150 euros will be paid at the start of the 2022 school year to try to counter inflation. For who ? We take stock.

An inflation bonus of 150 euros will be distributed from the start of the 2022 school year, in September, and will be paid directly into the bank account of the beneficiaries, without any action on their part. The “lowest” should be concerned according to the words of the Prime Minister, namely: young people aged 18 to 25, students, low-wage families with dependent children and perhaps the middle classes. In other words, the public targeted by the food voucher. The formalization of the beneficiaries should take place during the presentation of the purchasing power bill, on July 6 by Elisabeth Borne. A global project which will also allow the announcement of other flagship measures of Macron’s second five-year term, such as the increase in pensions, the tripling of the PEPA bonus or the abolition of the TV license fee.
The emergency aid desired by Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne aims to help “the most modest“. Will the government give up the food check in favor of this new inflation bonus? Nothing is less certain, but the sum of 150 euros advanced by the executive seems for the time being to hold the rope.
