The death of an infant in Simcoe has been deemed “not suspicious” following a police investigation.
Police responded to a report of an unresponsive infant at a residence on Nelson Street in Simcoe on June 14 at about 12:39 pm
The child was later pronounced dead at hospital.
“Investigators have determined the death was not suspicious in nature,” Norfolk OPP Const. Andrew Gamble said in a media release on Wednesday afternoon.
