It was during Spain’s World Cup gold celebrations that Luis Rubiales, president of the Spanish Football Federation, kissed player Jennifer Hermoso on the mouth.
Hermoso has described the kiss as assault. Rubiales believes that it took place with consent.
It is the first time Infantino has commented on what has happened. Pampen believes that Rubiale’s behavior has grabbed the headlines.
