Indiana Jones series on Disney+: What’s next after Harrison Ford’s departure?
That’s now revealed by Variety. According to sources, the project is at a very early stage. Since no screenwriter has been found yet, there is also no information about a possible story yet. It could therefore be a prequel, a spin-off to part 5 or a story completely detached from the continuity of the film series.
The report also reveals that Disney is considering different options for continuing the film series. Accordingly, in addition to the series in the foreseeable future a new Indiana Jones film series is coming up.
When is Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford coming out?
Hopefully, by the time Indiana Jones 5 hits theaters, plans for Indy’s future will have become more clearly manifested. Fans will have to wait a little longer for that. The new part of the film series will be released on June 29, 2023 come to the cinema.
