After what feels like an eternity of waiting, Indiana Jones 5 is finally set to hit theaters in mid-2023. In any case, the blockbuster with Harrison Ford has been off for a while. Flop fear: Indiana Jones 5 is said to have had a disastrous reception so far

As reported by the well-connected, but not always completely reliable website World of Reel, initial reactions to Indiana Jones 5 are said to have been quite devastating. Disney probably has multiple endings for the sequel filmed and tested in front of an audience, each of which is said to have met with rejection.

One ending that reportedly performed worst establishes Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Successor to the legendary title hero. In another final version, Indy is even supposed to die. Either way, Indiana Jones 5 will mark Harrison Ford’s departure from one of his most iconic franchises. However, the way in which this is happening is currently causing anything but enthusiasm.

The film series should after the farewell of the leading actor still not over be. The studio is reportedly already working on an Indiana Jones series for Disney+. Content details are not yet available. A lot will probably also depend on the success of the fifth part, whose commercial success Disney is probably worried about at the moment.

We start Indiana Jones 5 am June 29, 2023 in the cinema.
