Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to pay an official visit to Ukraine.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi started his historic visit to Poland and Ukraine yesterday, where he has promised to campaign for a peaceful solution to Russia’s war of aggression.
Modi becomes the first Indian Prime Minister to pay an official visit to Ukraine. He will also become the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Poland in 45 years.
In Poland, Modi will meet the Prime Minister on Thursday Donald Hardlythe president Andrzej Dudan and Indians living in the country. In Ukraine, Modi meets the president to Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Modi government has maintained warm relations with Russia during the war and has not condemned the country’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
