An Indian Bollywood film has sparked international controversy: the feature film “Bawaal”, recently released on the Amazon Prime platform, uses the story of the Nazi concentration camps as the setting for a romantic comedy. A mixture of genres that has been denounced in India as well as by an association for the defense of the memory of the Holocaust. But that also reflects a growing tolerance for the Hitler character in India.
