Increased safety with greater demands on A-tractor drivers

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Today’s requirements for A-tractors and EPA are not sufficient – that is the opinion of the EU Commission, which has now put forward a proposal for stricter rules.

– It feels great, because as it has been, there haven’t been many demands and unfortunately there have been many accidents with A-tractors, says training leader Mikael Sjöström.

The European Commission proposes that a B1 driving license and a 16-year age limit be required to drive an EPA or A tractor. As it is now, it is enough to be 15 years old and to have passed the test for an AM driving license (moped license).
