The tax rate in the region will be the same as before: 11.48 öre per krona. This will go to healthcare, public transport and regional development. After Tuesday’s meeting, it is clear that the patient fees will be increased, by how much it is still unclear. Prices in public transport will also be increased by an average of 2.6 percent over the next year. At the same time, investments are made in wages and maternity care.
The red-green government has previously received criticism for putting together a budget that runs with a deficit, but justified it with increasingly tough times. The decision was decided by voting. C, KD, L, M and SD reserved themselves against the decision and voted on their own proposals.
