In Palworld you can increase your catching skills using Lifmunk statuettes. We’ll show you how it works.
How do you increase your catching skill? If you want to increase your catching skills, you have to go to “Improve your own skills” at a “Statue of Power” and then sacrifice so-called Lifmunk statuettes there. These are small, green glowing statues of the grass pal “Lifmunk”.
You can find and collect Lifmunk statuettes all over the map. They often even stand on slopes or on small hills and mountains. Because of their green glow, you can find them particularly well at night.
You can find a Statue of Power in specific locations on the map – often in church-like ruins – or build one in your camp using the Build menu. A “Statue of Power” is a stone statue of the pal “Anubis”.
Increase catching skill – Community has theories about what exactly this will do for you
What exactly does catching skill bring? Higher catching skills will help you be more successful at catching Pals. The chance of catching calculated during a catch attempt may then be higher than if you had not previously improved your catching skill.
However, it is currently not known how exactly your catching skill influences your chance of catching. However, there are two theories within the community:
But we repeat again that these are just theories from the community. We are not aware of an official explanation from the developers as to how exactly leveling up your catching skill affects your chance of catching.
By the way, the developers warn against consuming a special item because it can permanently reduce your catching skills due to a bug: The developers of Palworld warn about a bug from which there is “no return” – avoid an item
