Several of the alcohol meters on the market do not show the correct blood alcohol content when blown into them, shows Testfakta’s and Motorförarnas helnberkerhetsförbund’s review.
The electricity giant is now stopping selling one of the meters in the test, which shows completely incorrect values.
– We removed it immediately when we found out that it was a substandard product, says Sayna Oveisikian, communications manager at Elgiganten to SVT Nyheter.
Most meters need to be recalibrated after a while – otherwise there is a risk that they will show incorrect values.
