A short lock-down took place at Paris District High School Thursday morning after what police described as a “disturbance” at the school.
Brant OPP said the school initiated a hold-and-secure protocol in accordance with board procedures but it only lasted about five minutes.
Officers arrived at the school and quickly located and took into custody a youth.
Police said no injuries were reported and there is no threat to public safety.
