In Turkey, police have shot rubber bullets and tear gas against the arrest of the mayor against protesters.

People who gathered in front of Istanbul City Hall show the popular opposition mayor Ekrem imamoğlu because of Wednesday’s arrest and charges against him. Legal action is widely convicted of a political attack against opposition in the EU.

AFP journalists said they themselves testified to shooting rubber bullets and tear gas at the town hall.

On Wednesday, the Istanbul Governor’s Office was banned by all demonstrations in the city. The ban is valid at least until Monday.
