The explosions took place on Wednesday in the Iranian city of Kerman near the tomb of Qassem Suleiman, commander of the Revolutionary Guard. At least 95 people died in the explosions.
The explosions that killed around a hundred people in Iran on Wednesday seem like an Isis-style terrorist attack, says a US presidential administration official to the media. According to him, it is estimated in the United States that the explosions resemble attacks that the jihadist organization Isis has carried out in the past.
A representative of the US National Security Council also answered the question about the possible perpetrator of the attack on Wednesday local time John Kirby.
– We have no information about how it happened or who could be responsible for it, Kirby said at the White House press conference.
In Iran, on the other hand, one of the advisers to the president Mohammad Jamshidi blamed the attack on the United States and Israel. He wrote in the message service X that the responsibility for the attacks rests with the administrations of these countries, while terrorism is only a tool.
The US has denied that it or Israel was behind the attack.
– We are focused on fighting with Hamas, answered the spokesman of the Israeli armed forces Daniel Hagari when asked about the explosions.

Iran’s health minister: 95 dead
The explosions took place on Wednesday in the southern Iranian city of Kerman near the commander of the Revolutionary Guards Qassem Suleimani tomb where people had gathered on the anniversary of Suleiman’s death. The US killed Suleiman in an airstrike in Iraq in January four years ago.
According to the AP news agency, the video footage obtained from the area indicated that the second explosion occurred approximately fifteen minutes after the first.
Terrorist groups are known to often use the tactic of two explosions, where the second explosion aims to kill rescue personnel and fleeing people.
Iran’s state news agency Irna initially reported that 103 people had died in the explosions. According to Iranian state television, more than 200 people were injured in the explosions.
Iran’s Minister of Health Bahram Eynollahi later corrected the figure, saying that the exact number of people killed in the explosions was 95. According to the minister, the earlier figure was due to some names being erroneously registered twice.
