Tensions are escalating as Russia conducts exercises on Ukraine’s borders and many countries call on their citizens in Ukraine to leave the country. Referring to the news of the US press that Russia will invade Ukraine on February 16, according to US intelligence reports, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy said, “If there is 100 percent information that Russia will invade Ukraine on February 16, this is it. “Give us the additional information. Today, this repository contains a wealth of information for deep and full-scale warfare. It’s even announced dates for it.”

Zelenskiy said, “We know that we may encounter surprises at any moment regarding the possibility of an attack by Russia. We are confident. We understand that such initiatives will be unannounced. That’s why we strive to be ready for anything. We are ready for any step from any side, from any border. I think our experts, Our personnel, ministries and army are working at a very serious level,” he said.

Zelenskiy, who said that they have taken precautions against all threats and will organize military exercises, called for calm. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also called on the people to calm down in order to disperse the panic atmosphere in the country. “At this time, it is critically important to maintain calm, consolidate domestically, and avoid actions that will destabilize and cause panic.
