Åland United beat league jumbo PKKU bluntly 11–1 in the National League match.
PK Keski-Uusimaa, the series jumbo of the Women’s National Football League, suffered its ugliest defeat of the season, when Åland United, the fourth in the series, beat the club 11–1 at home.
In the current season, PKKU has played 15 matches and collected three points. Even before, however, more than ten goals had not been scored against it. The previous meeting of the season against United ended with numbers 1–3 at PKKU’s home field.
Åland Aada Törrönen scored four goals in the match. He thus doubled his goal balance for the whole season in one match.
In the other matches of the day, the superior league leader HJK beat PK-35 Vantaa 3–0. HPS improved its position in the medal fight by beating PK-35 3–2. Thus, Åland is still eight points away from the team.
The tightest match was seen in Tampere, where Ilves and JyPK, who were one point behind in the standings before the evening, won. The match finally ended with a score of 0–0.
The situation in the middle pack of the National League is even tighter. Ilves, FC Honka, PK-35 Vantaa and JyPK are in places five to eight only one point away from each other.
