House of the Dragon Season 2 – Teaser Trailer (German) HD
In the teaser trailer for season 2, which was released at CCXP in Brazil, we now celebrate a grim reunion Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), who seek to defend their respective family’s claim to power with fire and blood.
When is House of the Dragon season 2 coming?
So far there is no start date, just a period: In Summer 2024 let’s travel back to Westeros. The new episodes will most likely come to Germany via Sky/WOW.
Until then, you can catch up on the first season on free TV, among other places. ProSieben will broadcast House of the Dragon from January 8th. There will be double episodes at 8:15 p.m. The first season will run on the channel in five dates. The episodes can be seen exclusively eight days in advance on the Joyn streaming service.
The fantasy series takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones
In Game of Thrones, the dragons are gone from Westeros before Daenerys arrives. House of the Dragon takes place around 200 years before, when the Targaryen dynasty rules the continent. King Viserys (Paddy Considine) plans to name his daughter Rhaenyra as successor, but doubts are growing in those around him. His second wife Alicent (Olivia Cooke) grew up with Rhaenyra, but now she fears for her own offspring’s power base. Who really has a right to the throne? Rhaenyra, who would break tradition as a woman, or Alicent and Viserys’ eldest son?
The story is based on George RR Martin’s fictional “history book” Fire and Blood – The Rise and Fall of the House Targaryen of Westeros.
