The English Premier League in football culminated quite a bit when Manchester City won the championship by a point difference to Liverpool. Both won their final games as Liverpool overthrew Wolverhampton and City rose from a 0-2 loss to a 3-2 win over Aston Villa. For City, the championship is the second in a row and the fourth in the last five seasons.
Villa surprised the home team with a leap to 2-0. With Liverpool leveling at home against Wolves, City was caught up in the championship with a goal difference. But a winning goal would have brought Liverpool a championship. In the end, Pool won 3-1, but at the same time in Manchester, City scored three goals between the 76th and 81st minutes and won the title.
City’s goals in the match were answered twice by a hit Ilkay Gündogan and Rodri.
After the match, Manchester City supporters flocked to the field to celebrate, but some of the fans went to Villa’s guard Robin Olsen to attack. City issued an apology on their website (you switch to another service)for both Aston Villa and Swedish guards. Meanwhile, the club said it was investigating the matter and announced the attackers would be banned from the stadium.
In addition to City and Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham will go to the Champions League next season. Arsenal and Manchester United took the places in the Europa League, and West Ham will be seen in the Conference League.
Burnley, Watford and Norwich will drop out of the series at the end of the season. Leeds remained last in the series.
The series won the paint kingdom Mohamed Salah, who scored 23 goals in the series. Also Tottenham Son Heung-min scored 23 goals but Salah gave Sonia more passes.
