As in many countries, this month of October is synonymous with a breast cancer awareness campaign. In the Comoros, the Comorian Association Against Cancer in Women (ACCF) is the standard bearer of this fight. During this month, the ACCF allows hundreds of women to be screened. Last September, a public hospital finally set up an imaging center, a step forward since until now this was only possible in a private clinic which also lowered its prices during the campaign. Unfortunately, this is not enough and there are many problems on the ground.
