The Uber Uniques are powerful items in Diablo 4 that players only have a small chance of getting. Since Season 3, you’ve been able to make them yourself – and the materials for one of them are (almost) free in Season 4.
What are these powerful items? In Diablo 4 there are powerful, rare items for all classes that make the builds even stronger, or even more so. We’re talking about Uber Uniques, which you mainly get as drops from a specific boss.
Within Season 3, Uber crafting came into play. This means that since then you can build Uber Uniques yourself with “Magnificent Sparks”. To do this, however, you first have to collect them, not through a drop, but by dismantling Uber Uniques that you don’t “need.”
In Season 4 you are guaranteed to get three Magnificent Sparks as a drop if you do certain activities. In the livestream on May 2nd, the developers explained where exactly you can get the sparks.

Where do I get the Magnificent Sparks? In the YouTube livestream, Colin Finer explained that the “Tormented Echoes”, i.e. the bosses at level 200, drop a Magnificent Spark when you defeat them for the first time. The same applies to Uber Lilith – she also drops a spark when you defeat her for the first time.
In the new seasonal quest series, you will receive another Magnificent Spark as a reward for your reputation with the Iron Wolves. Lead Seasons Designer Deric Nuñez explained in the stream that players should work their way through the reputation system with the Iron Wolves because they can expect juicy rewards.
The mainstay of this reputation system is to boost players’ performance and give them early access to gear with “juicy stats”, Legendaries, boss materials and even a Magnificent Spark as the “icing on the cake”.
Are they enough for crafting? To craft an Uber Unique you need four Magnificent Sparks, which means you still need to dismantle an Uber Unique. But at least you’re guaranteed three sparks if you advance your reputation with the Iron Wolves, Uber Lilith and place a “Tortured Echo”.
The number of sparks required for crafting was reduced from five to four in a past patch, but you have to have them first. Many players previously doubted whether they would get enough Uber Uniques as a drop to be able to craft a new one.
