In search of soldiers executed in Correze This duty obliges

The French and German authorities will carry out research to exhume the bodies of German soldiers executed by resistance fighters in June 1944, after the discovery of a possible grave near Meymac in the north of Corrèze. The historical research that will accompany this exhumation should shed light on this local history of the Resistance, still surrounded by gray areas. Interview with Xavier Kompa, director of the departmental service of the National Office for Veterans (Onac).
