In photos: the Webb space telescope suspended from a wire and installed on Ariane 5

In this image, we see the “arrival” of the satellite on the Ariane 5 launcher. It also shows the “shower curtain” about 12 meters high and 8 meters in diameter installed, to create an enclosed space around the James -Webb in order to avoid any contamination. © ESA, Manuel Pedoussaut
