Garbage collectors who will have to give up their leave
And to those who accuse the garbage collectors of taking the city of Paris who is their employer, the union maintains that “ it is not the CGT which is taking the city hostage, it is the city which is taking the agents hostage “. “We are going to ask them to be present for a certain period of time, therefore to give up their leave and to be much more present during this period, so the 1900 euros, they fully deserve it. “, says Smina Mebtouche.
Parisian garbage collectors are on strike initially for three successive days from Tuesday May 14 and next week on May 22, 23 and 24. If their demands are not met, they will begin a new strike from July 1 to September 8, in other words, for the duration of the Olympic Games and Paralympics.
