According to information from the German newspaper Bild, a car struck a group of people in Munich, apparently gathered during a rally of striking demonstrators. City police have confirmed the information, resumed on all German media this morning. According to the first elements mentioned by the press, there are around fifteen injured, taken care of by ambulances deployed on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle, a mini cooper, was under control by the police and arrested. Shops were said to have been pulled before the driving individual was out of his car. It is unknown at this stage if it is a malicious act or an accident, but according to an eyewitness questioned by Bild, the car “deliberately rushed on the strikers”.
