“Dear readers,
I will be leaving soon. Yes, disappear from this planet. And it occurred to me to collect many thoughts, quotes, gathered throughout my life, and to bequeath them to you, in the hope that for you too, they will be a source of reflections, meditations, even matter to laugh and cry.
Dear readers, dear obaldians, it’s up to you, according to your affinities, your moods, to appropriate a rare pearl.
I am now going to take leave of you, not without gratifying you with a Bantu proverb: “My friend is not dead since I am still living.”
Rene de Obaldia”
