With patch 13.10, many items in League of Legends have received more or less major adjustments. Youmuu’s Ghostblade became a mythic item and was made stronger accordingly. Too strong, as many players find. In the next patch, Youmuu’s Ghostblade will therefore get strong nerfs.
What makes Youmuu’s Ghostblade so powerful? Above all, the new passive haunt makes the item incredibly strong.
Youmuu’s Ghostblade’s passive collects up to 100 shards as you move. The more shards you have, the faster your running speed will be. At 100 shards you gain additional lethality. Coupled with its good values, the item is very strong.
By the way, another item returned with Patch 13.10 and brought with it a serious bug.
Compared to the other two Mythic items for assassins, Youmuu’s is almost always the best choice. User LazyProcrastinator_ compared the 3 items in a Reddit post.
Youmuu’s Ghostblade:
Eclipse
Duskblade of Drakthaar
Statistically the best Mythic item for AD Assassins, Youmuu’s Ghostblade is also successful in other roles. Lots of talking points here, similar to a Rift change in patch 13.10.
In the next patch 13.11, Youmuu’s Ghostblade will be heavily nerfed
How is Youmuu’s Ghostblade nerfed? Above all, the passive of the item has to suffer next patch.
Especially the nerf on the lethality factor is hard. On the first level 5 and on the last level 8 less, the item weakens enormously. Reducing ability speed will also hurt some assassins. Stack gathering is also slowed down by the nerfs.
Although the values of the nerfs can still change before the patch is released, should the nerfs happen, it can be expected that many AD Assassin win rates will drop.
Also coming with the next patch is a champion update that was postponed due to player dissatisfaction.
