In Kosovo, an explosion has damaged an important water channel. This was announced late on Friday by the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurtiwho blamed neighboring Serbia for the terrorist attack. He offered no evidence whatsoever to support his claim.
The explosion occurred near the town of Zubin Potok in the restive north of Kosovo. The canal transports water used in cooling systems to two power plants that produce most of the country’s electricity. According to Kurt, part of Kosovo may be left without electricity, perhaps as early as Saturday morning, if the damage is not repaired.
The Serbian administration has not commented on what happened.
