In Kaleidoscope you have to choose the sequence of episodes yourself and that’s how it makes the most sense

In Kaleidoscope you have to choose the sequence of episodes

The Netflix series launched on January 1st kaleidoscope tells of the criminal Leo Pap (Giancarlo Esposito), who gathers a gang of criminals for a 70 billion dollar heist. However, the series works according to a special system: it follows the experimental idea that you Watch 8 episodes in any order can and still understand everything. Instead of obeying the given list of episodes, you can jump back and forth as you like and decide for yourself which chapter comes next.

Anyone who has looked through the series, however, should notice that the complete arbitrariness of the series narration of Kaleidoskop is not always beneficial. We present you 3 approaches to the order in which especially one the best viewing experience offers.

I what order you should watch the 8 episodes of Kaleidoscope on Netflix

Because some episodes have the character of a series introduction and others anticipate too far, the Netflix series can frustrate those who want to be an expert animal. If in doubt, you can of course simply stick to the order given by Netflix for Kaleidoscope. The streaming service varies depending on the subscriber, but does not subject anyone to an order that is completely inaccessible. One thing is particularly important: Watch the episode “White” last!

Kaleidoscope Gang

In the following we present you (depending on your preferences when watching series) 3 different approaches for enjoying Kaleidoscope.

1. Netflix’s Tidy Kaleidoscope: This is in chronological order

Being able to watch the Kaleidoscope in the correct chronological order takes much of the excitement out of the time-jumping narrative. (Similar to the DVD option of not looking backwards in Christopher Nolan’s Memento.) If you value order and disdain flashbacks and forwards, this is still the right order for you. For everyone else, it’s worth taking a look at chronological sequence mainly to get a better sense of the story unfolding:

  • (Black: Introduction)
  • 1.Violet: 24 years before
  • 2. Green: 7 years before
  • 3. Yellow: 6 weeks before
  • 4. Orange: 3 weeks before
  • 5. Blue: 5 days before
  • 6. White: the raid
  • 7. Red: the morning after
  • 8. Pink: 6 months later
  • 2. Brain acrobat kaleidoscope: The random rainbow order

If you know the children’s song Who Sees the Rainbow, you can easily recite the rainbow color sequence and stick to it. If you surrendered entirely to the arbitrariness of the Netflix experiment If you want, you can try this:

  • Red:
    the morning after
  • orange: 3 weeks before
  • Yellow: 6 weeks before
  • Green: 7 years before
  • Blue: 5 days before
  • pink: 6 months later
  • Violet: 24 years before
  • White: the heist

    3. The best kaleidoscope order for maximum fun and excitement

From the point of view of a person who has already seen the series, it becomes apparent that the ideal order for kaleidoscope (with easy choice options) absolutely exists. With this arrangement of the Netflix series, your head will still have something to do without being fretted with gaps in knowledge or insight gained too soon:

  • Yellow: 6 weeks before
  • Green: 7 years before
  • Violet: 24 years before
  • orange: 3 weeks before
  • Blue: 5 days before
  • Red: the morning after
  • pink: 6 months later
  • White: the heist
  • Because the kaleidoscope sequence called yellow brings the gang together, it’s a good start, but starting with green doesn’t spoil the fun either. Blue and Orange are best placed in the middle because they set up the heist immediately, as does Violet, where Leo’s motivation will tell us. You should then skip to the post-heist episodes (Pink and Red). Because at the peak of the slump (white) everything converges. This results in the following Variant order of the order aboveif you want to keep a few choices:

  • 1st-2nd – Yellow or Green
  • 3rd-5th – orange or Violet or Blue
  • 6th-7th – Red or pink
  • 8th. White
