Why is wearing the cape a problem for some players? The fight on Malevelon Creek made no sense. Some players are convinced that the Helldivers would have been better off on other planets.
As a user on Reddit explains, the armed forces would have had to either liberate the planet Ubanea or defend the planet Draupnir in order to maintain supply lines to the planet Tibit.
What’s the deal with supply lines? In Helldivers 2, all planets are connected with supply lines. If a new planet is to be liberated by the players, it must be connected to an already liberated planet via supply lines.
During the ongoing galactic war, another player asked on Reddit why there were so many Helldivers on Malevelon Creek. He also emphasized that players should fight on Ubanea instead. At that time there were almost 60,000 players on Malevelon Creek – without any strategic use.
The players who are now betraying the Over-Earth and shooting their comrades believe that the “Malevelon Creek” soldiers have harmed the Over-Earth fight, wasted forces and are themselves traitors.
