The security barrier which separates the Gaza Strip from the territory of the Jewish state was presented as insurmountable. A wall of iron and steel that extends on land, underground and in the sea. A high-tech barrier, clad in cameras and sensors, and yet which was easily breached in several places. In the kibbutzim neighboring Gaza, Israeli self-defense groups, responsible for protecting the region, are still trying to understand how such a tragedy could have happened.
