French bakers have reportedly prepared the world’s longest Patong on Sunday.

The baguette baked in Suresnes in the suburbs of Paris is no less than 140.53 meters long, or 235 times longer than traditional French bread.

The bread was baked in a special oven that moves slowly with wheels.

– Everything is confirmed. We are all very happy that we broke this record and that we did it in France, said Anthony Arrigault after the baguette was approved by Guinness World Records judges.

After completion, the bread was served to those who wanted it and the rest was given to the homeless, says the British broadcasting company BBC.

French bakers returned the record bread to their homeland. The previous record is from Italy in 2019. A baguette 132.62 meters long was kneaded in the city of Como.
