It’s still the same story, RN against Lrem, Macron against Le Pen, and now the new updated version: Attal against Bardella. In the European Parliament, the real divide opposes the two major political forces which structure most of the world’s great democracies, the right and the left.
Number two on the list, farmer Céline Imart, takes aim at the Macronists: “ Emmanuel Macron, she says, is the specialist in big words, in big debates, and he is also and above all the specialist in big smoke. »
For his part, the party president, Eric Ciottilaunches an appeal to voters lost by the right since 2017: “ Come back to the Republican right, he says. No matter what paths we take, we must come together for France ! »
The strategic choice is not to have too many meetings like five years ago. The rooms were full, like this Saturday in Aubervillier, but in the end, only 8% of the votes went to LR. Francois Xavier Bellamy’s team says it mainly wants to concentrate on televised debates and field trips.
