The left-wing coalition New People’s Front, which won the parliamentary elections in France, has reached an agreement on a prime ministerial candidate, after two weeks of negotiations. The matter is reported, among other things, by the French media Le Monde.

According to the statement published on Tuesday, the coalition proposes Emmanuel Macron as the new prime minister Lucie Castetsia.

Unknown to the general public, Castets is currently working as the financial director of Paris City Hall. Previously, he has also worked in the fight against tax and financial fraud.
